Our Mission

Celebrating Global Stories, One Film at a Time

The Little Fish International Film Festival (LFIFF) was created to uplift the voices of independent filmmakers from around the world. Our mission is to provide an inclusive, community-centered platform that celebrates creativity, innovation, and the universal art of storytelling. Through film, conversation, and cultural exchange, LFIFF brings people together to explore new perspectives and share meaningful narratives.

OUR VALUES

Inclusivity, Innovation, and Impact

LFIFF was founded on the belief that film has the ability to unite communities and broaden understanding. We are committed to accessibility, artistic integrity, and supporting filmmakers at every stage of their journeys. Our festival values originality, representation, and the transformative impact of sharing untold stories.

OUR FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE

A Three-Day Celebration of Art & Community

Launching in September 2026, LFIFF will offer three dynamic days of screenings, panels, workshops, and cultural events. Attendees can expect a vibrant mix of international short films, industry conversations, community happenings, and unforgettable creative moments, all hosted at premier venues in the Hudson Valley.

OUR COMMITMENT TO EMERGING TALENT

Empowering the Next Generation of Filmmakers

LFIFF is proud to be a platform for rising voices in film. Through curated programming, mentorship opportunities, and meaningful industry connections, we aim to support filmmakers as they grow their craft and share their work with wider audiences. Our 2026 festival will highlight new creators pushing boundaries in storytelling, technology, and social impact.
